Khalil Sakakini Center hosted the exhibition “ There Is a Light that Never Goes Out”, marking the 30th anniversary of the launch of Darat al Funun- The Khalid Shoman Foundation’s initiative in support of contemporary Arab artists, Palestinian artists, researchers, cultural centers and institutions. To celebrate the pioneering role of Darat al Funun in the cultural Arab and Palestinian scene, in addition to showing its symbiotic relation with Palestine and contribution to maintaining and enhancing a fruitful collaboration now and in the future.

The events included exhibitions of art works and books, screenings of art videos and films that have all enriched the Arab artistic and cultural library in the last decade, as well as talks and seminars in Jerusalem, Gaza, Ramallah and Bethlehem.
