The collection of “Twelve Candles of Granada” by Palestinian artist Kamal Boullata (1942-2019) acquired by the center dates back to 1996, which was executed using printing. The artist donated this collection of 11 Artworks to the center. The collection generally reflects the style of the artist’s work and his passion toward engineering and abstraction, and the areas of his paintings were distinguished by often taking a squared area. The tile of this square was devoted to experiment within shapes and geometric structures, repetition and exploration of color distribution in the confined space imposed by the square.
