Rachid Qureshi

The Algerian artist Rachid Qureshi (1947) donated this important collection to the Center regarding his personal exhibition at the Center, which was organized under the title “Corridors”. The production of the Artworks dates back to the years of 1997 and 2001, which counted to be 107,that consisted of two series: “The Child, Jazz and War” and “Beirut Poem”. Qureshi had previously collaborated with Mahmoud Darwish in his collection of Darwish’s poems and engraved paintings, under the title “A Nation in Exile”, in 1981.
