Artwork Collection Archive
The center art collection is consisted of four parts; The first part was given to the Center by the Syrian artist Marawan Kassab Bashi, the second by the Algerian artist Rachid al-Quraishi, and for the third part it includes work donated by the Palestinian artist Kamal Ballata, and least but not last the fourth part contains the various work for a group of artists. The total number of works in the collection is 189 works, which includes paintings that have been executed using different materials, the art works are documented and kept in adequate and professional storage conditions. This Sakakini art group is a valuable artistic legacy that narrates an important history in the march of the Palestinian and Arab art movement both of them, and it is a testament to the Center’s connections by the passage of time with Palestinian and Arab artists in different geographical locations.
